Guest guest
I lost 6 pounds and 3.5% body fat in 5 weeks of Eat Stop Eat. No loss of lean mass. As long as you're strength training, you're not going to lose any muscle. I found ESE a whole lot easier than " dieting " or struggling to restrict an already healthy diet even further. I like having a post-workout meal after strength training, so I arranged it so that fasting periods fell on cardio days. That way my working muscles always stayed happy and well-fed. :-) I think I blogged about ESE back in Feb & March if you want to look for more detailed entries on it. > Hi ladies, > > I was wondering if anyone has any experience with Eat - Stop - Eat - > http://www.eatstopeat.com/ > > The book sounds good but I worry if my muscle would be compromised fasting > for a 24 hour period. > > Any thoughts? > > Thanks! > > Kim >
Guest guest
Diane, I've been thinking about it too! Please keep us posted, b/c I'm so nosey and want to see other people's results first. I'm not sure I can make it through 24 hours in a fasted state - although I work at home and sit on the couch with my laptop most of the day. I doubt I " really " need those calories hee hee, but let us know how it goes if you have time!
