Guest guest
I'm looking for a neurologist who can see a pregnant second trimester patient who was injured in an MVC.Specifically, are there any neurologist who will see a PI patient WITHOUT having to pay upfront or a large deposit??She shattered the 'vanity mirror' on the visor with her head. Giant goose egg on her forehead. No X-rays or any other ER imaging because she was pregnant.Still having 24-7 headaches as well as neck pain with some radiation into the left upper arm.Other info:She is 37, obese, a "high risk pregnancy" (per her OB-GYN); last pregnancy ended in miscarriage. Talks about being 'high risk' all the time...After speaking with an EPIC radiologist and getting a 'green light' from her OB-GYN's office, I sent her to EPIC for Cervical study. Too much pain/spasm to do Flex/Ext.Marked loss of lordosis. I was feeling quite vulnerable given that she has not had a complete "medical work up" prior to coming to my office. We cannot find a neurologist who will see her without prepaying. And then there is the constant referencing of the 'high risk pregnancy'. I have decided not to provide further treatment without a neurologist weighing in and doing whatever testing is appropriate during a second trimester pregnancy.Hoping there is a neurologist or two who is willing to wait 60 days to get paid a lot of money...
