Guest guest
I really had a blender's block this week, and I was stressed. When you're stressed, you can't think right, and that applies to all aspects of life, right? http://anyasgarden.blogspot.com/2011/08/ask-perfumer-sunday-august-7-2011-until.\ html visit my blog and ask any question you wish - you never know what will turn you around, and I hope I can help if you're fussing over a mod. -- Anya McCoy http://AnyasGarden.com http://PerfumeClasses.com http://NaturalPerfumers.com
Guest guest
Anya, You probably are aware of this already, but Alison Stillman presented some very simple but profound ideas last Saturday at the Ojai E.O. event I mentioned in my other post. When you are stuck, and there's an " absence of joy " , you must think " What brings us Joy? " To rid the body of that absence of joy, incense is the best guide to that higher space, to help one connect to the divine in oneself. That is why it is used in ritual in almost every culture. I wish all of you could have been there. Alison an amazing woman. Sandy, rivendellaromatics.com

I was quite happy until about the 10th mod, when I realized I was on the wrong path. A simple statement from someone on the phone about a perfume she liked caused me to ditch the path I was on, and jump on another, and I'm very, very happy with the new mods. I hope to meet Alison someday, and tell her of my overcoming my stuck self ;-) A citrus accord really helped!
