We have just redone the French Lab porphyrin test though and Nic's

results have been interpreted as " remarkable mercury toxic effect " .

We first did the test back in April and since then have been giving

the usual vits and supps incl mb12, doing scd and generally cleaned

up the environment. But I spoke to one of you last week and it could

be that Nic is doing some excreting of his own now? He's still only a

baby really - 2 years 9 mos. We were expecting to have to do

chelation.

The readings (compared) are:

Uroporphyrins I & III (UP)Nov 07 - 23 nmol/gCr ----- April 07. 22

(both ref 8-20)

Heptacarboxy porp (7cxP)Nov 07 - 7,1 nmol/gCr ----- April 07. 5,9

(ref 2,5-4,5)

Hexacarboxy (6cxP)Nov 07 - 0,7 nmol/gCr ----- April 07. 0,3

(ref 0,5-1,5)

Pentacarboxy porphyrin (5cxP) Nov 07 - 8,1 nmol/gCr-----April 07. 6,6

(ref 2-4 nmol/gCr)

Precoproporphyrin (prCP)Nov 07 - 59,0 nmol/gCr ----- April 07. 21,6

(ref 5-9 nmol/gCr)

Coproporphyrins I & III (cP)Nov 07 - 560 nmol/gCr ----- April 07. 334

(ref 100-200 nmol/gCr)

Our doc is on holiday until the new year. How do these results

compare with each other, or with any you guys have had? Any comments/

suggestions welcome!
