Guest guest Posted July 27, 2010 Report Share Posted July 27, 2010 Hi all, I was just after some much-needed advice as to which Absolutes would be good for me to buy in small quantities in order to learn about their properties. I want to get the big three at least: rose, jasmine and neroli (not sure of which varieties). I have recently purchased the following eo's: Cedarwood Himalayan Clary Sage French Lavender Olibanum Palmarosa Patchouli Sweet Orange Vetiver White Grapefruit Ylang Ylang 1st I have a few 100ml bottles of perfume alcohol base from Perfect Potion and also jojoba and beeswax. Another thing that is puzzling me somewhat is the major differences between the performance of absolutes vs. eo's. Are absolutes more " complete " in scent? I'm confused... Can anyone offer ideas as to how would be the best way to begin experimentation? Also, any further suggestions for more eo's would be great.
