Guest guest
Morning docs, Just wanted to comment on the Kaiser Direct Referral program. This is where the patient doesn’t have chiropractic benefits, but may see us with a referral from a Kaiser doc, PA or NP... Our office used to receive quite of few of these. Over the last year they have drastically reduced. I had a long standing patient come in yesterday who has this plan. He paid out of pocket, saying that he’d been trying to get a referral to come see me for 2months, but the powers that be at Kaiser kept telling him that he had to try PT at kaiser before they would do any referral to a chiropractor. I thought that was an interesting “coincidence.†ph Medlin D.C.
Guest guest
I've seen less referrals as well. Something has changed within the Kaiser system. , DC, FACO > > Morning docs, > > Just wanted to comment on the Kaiser Direct Referral program. Guest guest
No, it is just called 'money grubbing' and an attempt at 'controlling' the patient, spinning their wheels and teaching the patient that the (kaiser) 'doctor knows best'. meow skSunny Kierstyn, RN DC Fibromyalgia Care Center of Oregon 2677 Willakenzie Road, 7CEugene, Oregon, 97401541- 654-0850; Fx; 541- 654-0834www.drsunnykierstyn.com To: oregondcs From: hillcrestchiro@...Date: Fri, 4 May 2012 16:03:57 +0000Subject: Re: Kaiser Direct Referral I've seen less referrals as well.
