Guest guest Posted September 21, 2006 Report Share Posted September 21, 2006 Hi everyone I just have a question to ask today I have my son who is 14 at home (not yet diagnosed)he has woken with chest tightness and has described it similar to some chest pain episodes over the years which hasn't happened that often that leaves him unable to lay straight as it is so tight and he is unable to put his shoulders out as he describes. It doesn't hurt for him to breathe normally however it does cause pain if he takes a deep breath. Would like to know if is a thing of CMT as getting his doctors to see him today just won't happen we are still waiting for that appointment on the 19th Oct for a second opinion with the neurologist. This time is not as bad as the other episodes as to he always got the chest pain at 9 pm at night and slept in a recliner chair as he was unable to lay flat.
