Guest guest
You mean, I was *taking* lots of K 60MEQ per day, to be exact. On a rare day when I actually eat 3 meals, I barely get 2500mg of K. During the salt loading I was pretty nauseated and hardly ate a thing except eggs, spinach, and avocado. > > > Hi Dr. Grim, as promised, here are my 24 hour urine results (with lab reference ranges) after 3 days of oral sodium loading. Guest guest
Thanks Dr. Grim. I think the standard is 6-12g per day for oral salt loading? Since I already eat very low sodium my doctor wanted to start conservatively so he went with 6g/day. Even going that low, I had a couple of 165/110 BP readings, something that never happens on my normal diet. > > > > > > Hi Dr. Grim, as promised, here are my 24 hour urine results (with lab reference ranges) after 3 days of oral sodium loading. Guest guest
Unusually so? Or typical for a patient with hyperaldo? Just curious. > > > Hi Dr. Grim, as promised, here are my 24 hour urine results (with lab reference ranges) after 3 days of oral sodium loading.
