Could someone help me please, I'd like to use this. Is their a besttime to give, what sort of doses are used? Also any side effectsexperienced?

>>I used it when chelating, 2 x 150mg (Kirkman brand) I think per day which I think is lower than Andy C recommended supps but I always remember something Willis mentioned years ago - Milk Thistle speeds up Phase I of liver detox - which is a good thing if its sluggish but not if it tends to fast and Phase II can't keep up. I think you can have tests for this but I never did.

Anyways, Willis felt (although AC as I recall disagreed) that when you speed up Phase I of liver detox process with Milk Thistle you can deplete essential fatty acids. I don't recall the reasoning but there will be some. Because when we first started chelation we were using GSE for yeast, and GSE slows down Phase I of liver detox - which is why using GSE is not a good idea for kids on SSRI meds, anyway my probably misguided but logical thoughts were that one would cancel out the other on speed/slow so the net effective would be no change.

Now, I remember lots of bits of lots of things but rarely the whole thing LOL unless I feel its acutely important to Sam or could be for much of the community (like chelation protocols).

Anybody know a link to Willis latest version of Managing Autism?

Hi Mandi,

I used it when chelating, 2 x 150mg (Kirkman brand) I think per day which I think is lower than Andy C recommended supps but I always remember something Willis mentioned years ago - Milk Thistle speeds up Phase I of liver detox - which is a good thing if its sluggish but not if it tends to fast and Phase II can't keep up. I think you can have tests for this but I never did. Great, I've got Kirkman 100mg. We've actually been recommended by Lorene to use it to help Norman detox as he will be having a general anaesthetic next Wednesday, so to support his liver with this.

So GSE will slow phase I detox and Milk Thistle will speed it up. Have I understood correctly? If so, this is significant as we are using GSE now, so I should really stop this and use another antifungal? Now, I remember lots of bits of lots of things but rarely the whole thing LOL unless I feel its acutely important to Sam or could be for much of the community (like chelation protocols). I don't know about the lots of bits and lots of things, I think it is amazing how you remember all of this, I have to go back time and time again to read the same thing and even then not much will stick. Anybody know a link to Willis latest version of Managing Autism?

Do you mean "A Comprehensive Guide to Mastering Autism (Nov 1999-2006)" or is this a different one?

Thanks very much,
