Dear ers,

Dr. Paolo Vinci was kind enough to send me the Full Text copy of his

recently published paper. (A week or 2 ago I posted the abstract) You

can find the Full Text in our Files Section under " Rehabilitation

Management " .

Gretchen,

I read this article. This is EXACTLY what happened to me!!! I have been trying

to figure out why I have no balance anymore. I am wondering what would be the

best exercises to rebuild my triceps surae (which I now know is the

gastrocnemius & soleus combined)???? I have a stationary bike at home which I

sometimes use. But, since having my son have lost my ability to balance so I

thought it was my abs which I have been working on perpetually.

I will hit the bike alot more now that I know it might be that. I also think

that the fact that I got braces around 1999 has finally contributed to the

weakness of my TS. Well, I am at the library and would like to print the case

report by P. Vinci but when I bring it up in adobe, here at the lib., it will

not let me either print or email it to myself to print.

I was wondering if you could email the stance/balance case report to me?!!!

Thanks!

Dawn Turmenne
