Hi. Sorry, I didn't realize I was the you were asking about Dr.

Kwan until I read completely thru the post the 2nd time. It has been

nearly 2 years ago, and I ended up not going to St. Louis for help

after all, but I still have all the information regarding the family

CMT study at St. Louis University Hospital. I believe Dr. Kwan was a

research scientist there. That might be a good place for you to start

in trying to find a doctor though, since they have done CMT

research. Good Luck. I will look through my things this week-end and

let you know next week if I can find any more specific information on

who to contact there.

Thanks .

I actually found a Dr. Jeffery who is at Washington University. This is

what the website says...

" A wide range of foot and ankle problems are treated, including: trauma of the

foot and reconstruction of post-traumatic problems of the foot and ankle, foot

deformities related to neuromuscular disorders (primarily Charcot-Marie-Tooth

disease) and arthritic conditions, tendon injuries of the hind foot and ankle,

and sports-related injuries. The service also treats acquired foot problems,

including: forefoot deformities (such as bunions, hammertoes and digital

neuromas), heel pain, tendonitis, acquired flat foot deformity, and both

malignant and benign foot tumors. "

He is booked up until Jan. but hopefully he is a good place to start.
