Guest guest
How frustrating. All that worry was almost over and wham. Hope it gets rescheduled soon My AVS was supposed to take place tomorrow morning at 6am. Late this afternoon the hospital called to reschedule me for NEXT Friday, allegedly because the interventional radiologist is ill. Granted, I would rather postpone than have this done by an IR who isn't feeling well! But still - after the months of waiting, and a long week of worrying about all the things that could go wrong, having to wait yet ANOTHER week is not going to be easy. - msmith1928 45, female, 5'3", 120 lbs, 1cm left adrenal nodule, supine aldosterone 28.5/renin 0.2, potassium <2.9 (when not taking supplements); 25mg spiro caused gynecomastia; no HTN meds; current meds are 20MEQ K 2x/day, singulair 10mg, norethindrone .35mg, cyclobenzaprine 5-10mg when needed; low sodium, fructose- and grain-free diet
Guest guest
Thanks, it's next Friday. At the much more manageable hour of 12 noon. Unless of course it gets rescheduled again! > > > My AVS was supposed to take place tomorrow morning at 6am. Guest guest
What does " You want the first team " mean? They are using ACTH, it's being done by the IR at UCLA who is most experienced with the procedure. > > > > > > > My AVS was supposed to take place tomorrow morning at 6am. Guest guest
I'm still not sure I understand. There's only 1 IR we're talking about, it's the same one who was scheduled to do it originally but the day and time changed. > > > > > > > > > > > My AVS was supposed to take place tomorrow morning at 6am.
