Guest guest
I was involved with horses in college, very. I was on the dressage team and the horse judging team. Not only was a good way for me to find " quality time " to spend with horses -- very comforting to me, but it was also a good way for me to get involved and meet people that liked things similar to me. Horses definitely helped me get through college. On an unrelated note, have I mentioned that I just started my Masters in Journalism? I got into Northeastern (a total shock to me). I adore Northeastern, even though it has a lot of steps. I just plan the extra time into my day. The only problem that I have had is parking. Boston isn't exactly known as car friendly, but I looked at the Northeastern map and saw that they had some handicapped spots marked off nearby my classroom. So, I bought a campus parking permit and proceeded to try to find the spots. After an hour of driving around, I still couldn't find them. I even called parking services, but they didn't know where they were either. What a pain in the butt. I eventually found a parking spot, but it is much further away, and not marked on the map as handicapped. Oh well. Liz
