It needs to be pointing in the opposite direction of the kick. For example, if she is kicking with her right foot at 9:00, her left standing leg needs to be pointing toward 3:00 to avoid torque on the knee. It needs > to be pointing in the opposite direction of the kick. not only that, but she doesnt chamber her knee... she just kicks it up straight, more like a leg lift kind of thing. its weird and not safe. kathy and donna will remember troy from one of the slim series workouts, who debbie says is a 'martial artist'... iirc he does the kicks properly and ignores whatever debbie is trying to do. :*carolyn.
