The participants spend most of their time practicing the methods of effective instruction demonstrated in video-taped illustrations during the Introductory Workshop. The participants are provided supervised practice in small groups in the areas of instruction. Each participant receives precise feedback on their teaching methods and can get feedback on child-specific issues. Developing an IEP for the child in your care is an integral part of this workshop and forms the basis of much of the practice work. Please come prepared with your IEP targets or a completed copy of the ABLLS. Ideally, all members of a team should attend to ensure consistency in approach after the workshop.
