Guest guest
when you are doing intervals, say on the treadmill, how long should you do them? Over a period of 30 minutes? An hour? deb
Guest guest
It depends if it's high-intensity or not (HIIT). If it is, the intensity is crazy enough that you shouldn't be able to keep it up more than 15-30 minutes tops before you puke on your shoes. :-) If you're varying the intensity on an easier scale or include longer rest periods you can go as long as you want, but if you can go 45 minutes or an hour, that's more like steady state cardio and less like high-intensity intervals. Not necessarily a bad thing. Just depends on your personal preference and how much time you want to spend on the treadmill.
