when is the best time of day to take spiro?

Hi,

I am now on 200MG per day, I have 50MG pills. When is the best time of day to

take this and should I take it through out the day.

Does any one have a suggested schedule?

On the doctor oz show, he suggested that blood pressure meds be taken in the evening so they work while you sleep.

Perhaps since your dose is so high, dividing it between first thing in the am and then after dinner.

100mg did not work and my bp is very high at 190/118 pulse 65. So I have been

told to gradually increase until it works.

I would think gradually would mean 25mg at a time not 100.
