Guest guest
A very warm Welcome to you Sharr, thanks for jumping in with a introduction. For you and , the only quilts I've made were a joint project with my Mom. We completely emptied her 'scraps bag' (lol, it all was stuffed/packed down in a pillow case). My job was to first iron all the material scraps, then to arrange them according to color, then according to size. (Mom never let anything 'go to waste') We made 2 quilts from her 'scrap bag' - which was scraps of material from my life as a kid, teen, adult, etc., lol, even scraps of a tie she made for Dad one Xmas. I never thought we'd finish it, our projects took up most of the dining room table...and I did get very impatient at times. But it was a wonderful thing to do - it helped us bond as adults and come to terms with our 'mother-daughter' stchick. Interesting, because after that, we became the best of friends. Anyway, Sharr, so glad you joined, I hope you'll keep sharing help and hope with . I'm always interested in the kinds of exercise others with CMT are doing. Aruba is on my list of places to go, but lol, somehow I just keep returning to 'my' Fiji Islands! ~ Gretchen (Founder of )
