Guest guest
I really love hearing about your workouts. For anybody wondering what this CrossFit stuff is, here's the website: http://www.crossfit.com/ It's crazy functional strength and cardio combined. The workouts tend to be named after people. The women kick all kinds of ass. Here's a video showing what the workouts are like. You can close the ad for the song and/or turn the speakers down if you're at work and don't want Kanye West blasting out of your cubicle. ;-). > Yesterday I ran 5k in the park behind my building. > > Today was CrossFit. Guest guest
That was pretty cool to watch. Kanye makes it better (faster, stronger lol)... I noticed that not one of those women lifting heavy looked like the incredible hulk. They were all tiny and fit. Too bad most women don't ever see stuff like that.  (kipping still makes me laugh) > Yesterday I ran 5k in the park behind my building. > > Today was CrossFit. After warmup: > > Tuesday 7/14/2009 ***Lynne*** > “Lynne†> Five rounds for max reps of: > Body weight bench press (48# for me) > Pull-ups (4 bands assisted) > Transition within 20 Seconds > Rest As Needed Between Couplets > > My total per round: 18, 19, 15, 14, 14 > > -- > Diane M. in CO >

Guest guest
I am doing CrossFit 3-4x a week, running 1x a week and resting on Fridays. It's loads of fun! The food is pretty much BfL. Guest guest
Go to www.crossfit.com. There is a list there of affiliate gyms. You don't have to be super fit to start. They can scale the workout to any level. It's so much fun! If there is not a gym in your area, you can still do the WOD (workout of the day) at home using your own equipment. > > > OMG!!
