Guest guest
I see the other horn of your dilemma (what WILL be troublesome being hard to know)... that is frustrating. Perhaps the chiro could offer some advice?? PT: I did the fitness eval in the first place to primarily see where I was at and what I had to work on and to get advice regarding how to make improvements and take myself to another level altogether, planning to do that on my own. I did get all that so in the most basic sense it was "enough." I want more now, of course, but it will be so much more fun when we're in a good place for it that I know I can wait. I just wish I could have this attitude so easily when it comes to food! ;-) (who is tired and stressed today thanks to DS's being a pain and eating because of it all instead of making better choices!) Will your back ever be "normal"? What is the current prognosis? __________________________________________________
Guest guest
I think you know what you need to do/not do, I'm with you about not giving up forms of exercise that you're finding do work for you. How frustrating this must be sometimes! In our WW meetings this week we're talking about emotional eating and I was up front with members that I still do it sometimes. Way more controlled than I was pre-WW but I'm not immune. They were happy to know I'm human! :-) Donna / Exercise DilemaTo: exercisevideos@ yahoogroups. comDate: Tuesday, October 21, 2008, 12:55 PM Keep in mind I am a PACKRAT, but every time I've gotten rid of a quality workout like the Firm, Voight, etc. I've almost always regretted it later and semi-sought them out again later. However, it feels GREAT to declutter and be surrounded only by objects that bring you true joy. Guest guest
Good job , it gives them hope. And it helps to let them know that you can still make mistakes even though you " get it " and generally have a grip on it.Darcy I think you know what you need to do/not do, I'm with you about not giving up forms of exercise that you're finding do work for you. Guest guest
Hi !That is great that you could share about emotional eating - we've all been there, done that. I have gotten better over the last few years - I think a large part is that I do have a bit less stress (having a 5 year old is easier for me than a baby/toddler, for one thing!) and, it somehow lost its "mysitque" for me - I also try not to keep on hand any of my 'binge' foods - that has certainly helped as well take care, Donna From: Pink Pussycat <pinkpussycat@ pinkpussycatscor ner.com>Subject: Donna / Exercise DilemaTo: exercisevideos@ yahoogroups. comDate: Tuesday, October 21, 2008, 12:55 PM Keep in mind I am a PACKRAT, but every time I've gotten rid of a quality workout like the Firm, Voight, etc. I've almost always regretted it later and semi-sought them out again later. However, it feels GREAT to declutter and be surrounded only by objects that bring you true joy.
