This free site does look good, appears easy to use for tracking nutritional intake. Great tool for figuring out an individual's nutrition intake. Nice that it includes daily sodium and potassium intake. Thanks for sharing this oS.http://caloriecount.about.com/Elaine "Just want my mojo back"Actually in the next few days I will re-do the test.I have on my calorie log everything I ate that day and it clearly shows that I ate only 1530 mg of na. and I mean all my food is being done without salt. everything is made special, I do not eat outside ( except for 1 time I asked for a some french fries in macdonalds without salt ) we have had the same salt since we moved to this house ( cause I have always eaten with low salt ) so a 250mg bag of salt has

not been used here since june 2010, we still have it.when I do need to salt things I use a combo salt of nacl and kcl all processed foods I eat clearly state low sodium or low on salt, I do not eat monosodium glutamate, nor sodium bicarbonate. Everything here tastes like hospital food, and since all meat in this country is fresh it's not pre-processed with salt, so the meat is not salty. even my bp is low 120(+-20)/80(+-10), with a low dose of spiro, and I do not urinate 3L or more like I did before spiro ( only 50mg of spiro )So I have some doubts either I indeed contaminated the sample with naocl, ( the weird thing is that I rinsed it a lot of times with pure water ) or I have a small doubtI have been reading that the water in

someplaces can contain extreme amounts of NA, ( they clean it with sodium hipoclorite ), here in my country it's a known effect that late at night the water sometimes come loaded with naocl, people even say "let it settle" and it tastes like naocl you can actually see the water white... now reading around I saw that water can contain as much as 250mg/L of na, ( at least in some study I saw in canada ), and that fruit and vegetables processed and cleaned in water contain a much larger amount of na. So tomorrow I will call the lab of the utilities here in costa rica, and ask how much na on average they have on 1 litter of water.because as stated before on an study I saw if the water tastes it has more than 300mg/L of NA. And since I gave up all soft drinks, special drinks, bottled drinks, I only drink tap water with some flavoring, I add like a kola flavored syrup. So who knows maybe tap water could be a nice source of na we are not checking.if that's the case, lets say a person drinks 8 glasses of water a day ( as said in many fad diets ) , so that's 2L of water. normally we can find 54mg of na on 1L of tap water so only there you could intake 100mg of na.however if the water has high levels of na, you could easily ingest 500mg of na a day only on your water.and lets say you dash to 1500 and 500 of the water... there goes the dash...however in my case supposedly I did 6g of salt in 24 hours a day that I only ate 1,534mg of na.divided like this:Breakfast 346mg (the egg has salt )Lunch 650mg ( most of that on a piece of bread and a slice of cheese)Dinner 193mg ( I had a small piece of lasagna, homemade, everything saltless ) Snacks 345mg ( most of that on some bread ) And I have to say that day I went CRAAAAAAZY with the salt cause I had cheese on 2 meals, ( the lasagna and the cheese at lunch )Heck that day I was wasting the old bread but I have been making my own bread using kcl instead of nacl, and a very small amount of sodium carbonate, it asks for 1 teaspoon but I use much less. I eat daily around 900-1500mg of NA.I'm really puzzled, and I know the site that

counts my calorie intake has good data because I have lost weight using it, so the calorie data is correct, so should be the NA data. BTW if anyone is interested where I save all my food information I do it at this site: http://caloriecount.about.com/The site is free, and you can add all what you eat, keep a record of your weight, excercise, intake etc. well that's it thank you all !> > >> > > > o ( 35 overweight, PA, tx 25mg spiro BID, ARR 82, anxiety > > clonazepam 1mg/day )> > > >> > > > Hi I have been dashing for sometime now and my BP is excelent, > > <120/<80 ( except when I'm scared or angry) and then it goes to 140/85> > > >> > > > anyhow I have been dashing a lot, but I did a 24 hour urine NA > > just to check how I'm doing and I got that the value is of 190!!!> > > >> > > > Value: 190 ( normal < 250 ) mMol/l> > > >> > > > I mean I'm 60 mMol/L under par.. seems good but it does not
