Guest guest
By now, many of you should be aware of the fact that the method known as " plyometric training " did not bear that name in Russia, where it was extensively pioneered. There it was called " udarniye metod " or " shock method " , but even then it is alittle known fact that the real shock method was developed many years before then by soviet factory workers in motor plants who used available technology to enhance performance. Apparently, during their lunch breaks they really enjoyed lying down to do the bench press, but theirs was no ordinary bench press, because they utilised an approach which they referred to as the " shock method " or " shocking method " . Here is a unique photo of this secret " shock method " bench press, for the first time seen outside Siberia. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Supertraining/files/ShockMethod.jpg You are advised not to try this method nowadays, because it is way beyond the capabilities of any lifters or athletes today, especially in the West. The information provided is solely for educational purposes. Dr Mel C Siff Denver, USA http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Supertraining/
