hi I'm Polly from Wellington New Zealand, and a complete noob when it comes

to perfume making of any sort.

i have worked a little with essental oils and make bath products, such as

salt scrubs, bath melts, bath salts, bath milks and salves. (i have an etsy

store called Urban Witchery where i sell some of these)

i meet a few of the women on this list also from Wellington on satruday, and

found the conversation fascinating.. not to mention interesting, and of

course lovely women. *beams*

so why am i here, i am hoping to lean more about making natural perfumery

and what scents go with what scents, as well as more about the concepts of

scent notes, top mid and bottom

also i recently was given some black ambergris, and am now wondering how to

work with it, what other scents, essental oils etc that i can use with it so

that i might be able to make a nice perfume but being as i am a noob i

figured i should start with learning the basics before i play with that

right?

*smiles*
