Guest guest
Hi We tried yeast aid first for about 2 months but it had little effect. It has a very unpleasant taste and I literally had to force my daughter to take it. We then gave nystatin which she reacted very badly to (apparently some children do have extreme reactions to this) and have recentlly completed a course of diflucan. Although this is absorbed into the blood stream (unlike nystatin) most children tolerate it well and it seems to have had some success with my daughter after only 7 days. I would like to know the general opinion please. Messenger on the move. Text MSN to 63463 now!
Guest guest
yes fine, mixed with water, tolerated well, but did it work really well on yeast? maybe, maybe not. fewer panda eyes but still lots of giggling. I think it tastes OK, particularly with grapefruit or lemon juice. But then I like strong tastes and so does Tom Diflucan - fine, but no " wows " Nystatin we did for about a year, no positives and no negatives > > Has anyone tried Kirkman Yeast aid to control candida either instead > of or after a course of nyststin or fluconazole? Guest guest
was on Nystatin for a yr or so, it worked fairly well at the outset but then the Candida began to really fight back. Enzymes helped, but what is working absolutely the best is Candex maintenance dose, CP1 and Threelac. Absolutely loving the Threelac, seeing really nice improvements every day, even school commenting on his strides forwards. L Glutamine was also really good, but he has rages with it so can only use it when he becomes yeasty to the point of gloop. Haven't tasted any of them myself but I think it's safe to say they are all yuk, but is an absolute darling when it comes to taking his supps, never refused anything. Guest guest
We have never noticed any effect from Yeast Aid but after about 2 years still rotate it in and out while also using other antifungals. Nystatin was really effective for us (and S. Boulardii too) but after a long time with nystatin we had nystatin resistant yeast. So rotating antifungals is best. Best wishes, Sandy
Guest guest
--Hi! Last year my son had candida, parasites and bacteria issues. He had 10 days Metrodinazole and 6 weeks caprylic acid treatment.WE had the Comprehensive stool analysis tests before and after the treatment.I was pleased to see that he eliminated candida and the other gut problems were dramatically reduced. This year we are trying to do same treatment but my son showed very bad allergic reaction to the medicine and he is on the caprylic acid now.I would like to repeat the test again. In the past oregano oil was effective but last test showed candida was resistance to oregano and nystatin. He had nystatin treatment in the past. All the best nevin
