Guest guest
My experience with my HTN since 1999 s that when drug combo is balanced then my bp is sooooooooooooooo consistent...no surges....no unpredictable high/low bp(s). Max. Maybe some little advice. I am at my whits end sometimes and can't keep going up for more blood work and diagnosing myself isn't working out too well.but.......I am DASHing and have been since I read Dr G's article (I knew, but didn't do it before Conn's diagnosis) and on 50 of spiro. I was able to stop my other BP meds except the metoprolol as I am having heart rate issues where non existed before, but I only take 12.5 and not frequently. It is PRN med. But I am having these serious BP swings that I am not accustomed to. Monday was high like the old days, 160/120 and I am not sure why, I had a bit of a fever over the weekend, but so did the kiddo's and I feel fine today, and I took my meds as normal without changing them. Tuesday though my blood pressure kept dropping to 90ish over 60ish.This is my second episode of running that low for a day or two. Of course spiro can drop pressure as it should, but anyone having trouble with the swings? 120/70 today.
