Guest guest
He (bill) mentions workout then eat breakfast , I dont want to break the rules or complain but this really wont work with my schedule. Guest guest
I always do my cardio first thing in the morning. Technically, you can do exercise at any time of the day, but cardio in the morning has some advantages. First, your glycogen levels are depleted which means you will be burning fat instead of the carbs that you ate (if it were later in the day). Second, it has a significant afterburn effect, meaning it keeps your metabolism elevated for hours afterwards. I also like the feeling of accomplishment that I get from an early morning exercise. These days, I get up at 5:30 am (most days of the week) to hit the gym by 6 am (I have to feed the fourleggers and allow them some time outside before I can leave the house). Guest guest
Workout whenever it works for you. A fasted cardio isn't going to make that much difference. I workout, then I eat, but when I started, I did cardio in the mornings (and it was tough after 20 years of working out in the evenings) and weights in the evenings. Now I do all my workouts in the mornings. > He (bill) mentions workout then eat breakfast , I dont want to break the > rules or complain but this really wont work with my schedule. Guest guest
Do what works for you and don't overthink it. The key is consistency, consistency, consistency. The gains you can get from not eating breakfast before your workout will be minimal at best and remember this is a way of life not a bunch of rules that you are to follow. Good luck this is an awesome program I lost almost 60 pounds doing it! And 5 years later I can tell you CONSISTENCY is the absolute key for maintaining your weight loss as well. Guest guest
My trainer has also recommended that, if you can't do it first thing in the morning, don't eat anything 1.5 - 2 hours before you work out. If I tried to eat first, I would hurl (actually, I get stomach cramps) Even if I am hungry when I get up, after a few minutes of exercise the hunger goes away. Guest guest
I try to workout in the morning.. just before the day gets started.. that seem sto work for me.. Once I get up I do drink a SYNTRAX drink, just because that it " light " and doesn't interfere with my workouts... > > > > He (bill) mentions workout then eat breakfast , I dont want to break the rules or complain but this really wont work with my schedule.
