Guest guest
hi! saturday was a rest/recovery day in the ripped schedule, so i walked the dog for 60 mins, then did 'cool it off express' with debbie siebers for 30 mins. this is a very good stretch routine. thorough, effective, well cued, and i liked that debbie showed advanced modifications to some of the stretches. recommended. 90 mins, 411 cals. today was cardio+abs+yoga, so i started out on the elliptical for 30 mins. i listened to a couple of audio tracks done by chris freytag. they were ok, but i could have done just as well (or better) by myself listening to my own music. one of the workouts was intervals and she alternated the same music over and over ... kind of boring :/ then i did a selection from 'start trainers ab blast'... one with gay gasper which cued very well and consisted mostly of crunch variations. nothing exciting but it seemed effective. 10 mins. then i did a selection from 'perfect in 10 yoga' which was an awakening (sun salutation). this was also well cued and moved slowly through the sun sal (so no power yoga here). pleasant. 10 mins. total of 55 mins, 246 cals. a lower burn for cardio day, but that is ok. btw, last week was fabulous! 13 hours of workouts, 3441 cals burned! when i weighed in this morning, i was down 2 pounds! yay!! now the trick is to keep those 2 pounds from coming back on again... so i will continue with the workout schedule this week and keep trying to eat even better. :*carolyn. Guest guest
Way to go, Carolyn!!! You are doing SOOOOO great! Fantastic job last week, and awesome job this week so far as well! And thanks for the Tae Bo info, too! Many of those I got in a mystery grab bag so I wasn't sure what I was in for. I have that Blanks book so hopefully I can read some of it on vacation this weekend.
