Guest guest
OH , thats rough. Sorry to hear about your arm. I hope you get to do physical therapy when you are ready. (you can pump them for workout tips) I'd go for yoga (even chair yoga) because you can do it at the pace you can and as much or as little as you can. walking of course, leg lifts (from chair or from floor) squats holding onto something? Guest guest
Ouch! Once you're non-loopy from the pain meds - walking, stairs, stationary bike, squats, lunges, crunches, stretching. There's some evidence that when one side of your body is injured, strength training the other side can reduce the atrophy of the injured limb. So, while I wouldn't be training very hard, it might still be a good idea to get in some dumbbell rows, chest presses, bicep curls, shoulder presses, tricep kickbacks, etc., on the side that still works. And you can still train your lower body using body weight, machines, resistance bands, or one dumbbell. Run all of this by your doctor first, of course. And if you can get physical therapy, especially sports rehab, they're geniuses at training with and around injuries. Guest guest
Hi , Sorry to hear about your injury. Best wishes of a speedy recovery! When I was about 25, I broke two fingers on my right hand and my hand was in a cast for 6 weeks. All I could do was sleep, read, watch TV and eat. And eat I did. I put on a ton of weight at that time. Maybe HIIT on treadmill? Perhaps not running per se, but really fast walking with the highest incline. Otherwise, I cannot think of anything that has not been suggested already. Take care. Alena To: bodyforlifewomensclub2 From: body4lifehottie@... The good news is that your body burns more calories healing itself. The bad news is it is VERY difficult to find motivation to exercise when you can't do your normal routine. Do try to keep up activity (I slacked and I'm still PO'd at myself). I don't have any other advice, except " been there/done that " and best of luck to you in recovery!
