Medical Approaches in Autism. Clinical Implications of Environmental

Toxicology for Children’s Neurodevelopment in Autism

February 8, 2008, UCSF, San Francisco

Please circulate attached agenda and flyer, and invite your colleagues,

your patients, and the pediatricians, psychiatrists, psychologists, and

other care-providers of your patients.

NPART (New Paradigms in Autism Research and Treatment), with sponsorship

from Collaborative on Health and the Environment, Commonweal, San

Francisco Medical Society and UC MIND Institute, is presenting a

one-day Symposium, February 8, 2008 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at the UCSF

Laurel Heights Conference Center, 3333 California Street, San Francisco,

California.

The Symposium, “Medical Approaches in Autism. Clinical Implications of

Environmental Toxicology for Children’s Neurodevelopment in Autism”, will

be an excellent source of current information for physicians, clinicians

and other healthcare professionals who work with children with or at risk

for neurodevelopment disorders. Educated parents and members of the

general public who have an interest in learning more about the latest

information

on environmental implications in the diagnosis and treatment of Autism will

also benefit from scientific and clinical information provided at the

Symposium.

Fee Schedule:

There is a $50 registration fee/participant for the Symposium. A limited

number of scholarships are available for parents, students and others

requesting special consideration. UCSF Laurel Heights Conference Center

seating is limited, so early registration is advised.

A “Book of Articles”, considered the latest published Autism research and

treatment information is available for purchase ($10.) at the time of

registration.

Autism Biomedical Discussion (abmd) is a group of parents and professionals

dedicated to the exploration and pursuit of biomedical research and treatments
