Hi Everyone:

Last night was the 2011 Fragrance Foundation Awards. Mandy Aftel

was an indie fragrance finalist for three of her natural

perfumes. That is historic. Without an iconic figure like Mandy,

the recognition for natural perfumery may have taken many more

years. The winner of the category went to a group of Givaudaun

perfumers, but let's not lose sight of her achievement. Please

join me in celebrating her contributions and making 2011 the year

of natural perfumery.
