Enzyme Query - Any thoughts

Dear Listmates,

Has anyone had experience of their child getting a feeling of fullness after

taking enzymes?

In the last week, I am getting the impression that Josh is experiencing this and

would rather

take the enzymes than eat. It's just the way he gets very excited when he sees

me getting

them ready and is so eager to take them. As soon as I give them to him, he

doesn't want

anymore food.

I could be wrong but it's just my observation in the last week. I'd be

interested to hear from

anyone who has had a similar experience.

Thanks!

Angelle

cover the enzymes in something unpalatable to put him off them, and

then put them in his food after as mandi says? break open the caps?

sort of like anti smoking techniques with awful tasting filters? but

of course this is only if you can get the enzymes into his food

later, he may associate his memory of the enzyme taste with the new

bad taste.

Hi

Angelle,

I

was waiting to hear what Mandi would say!  Do you have the De Felice

book? If not, I’ll look it up for you but I wanted to tell you about Tom.

When Tom first took enzymes he threw up some horrible black stuff, every time

he took them but it only lasted a couple of days.  We decided that the enzymes were helping him

to get rid of loads of crap that had built up in his stomach.

It’s

very obvious that the enzymes are making Josh feel good – they should be

making him hungry but it is my guess that they are doing something else

first!!! If they are attacking some bad stuff he wouldn’t want to eat

after that, I suppose – just guessing. When do you give them? I would

even try the opposite and give them well before he eats on an empty stomach. I know

it’s not much help but try not to worry (I know he’s underweight)

as the enzymes themselves are very safe.

Hi Angelle,

We sprinkled the enzymes on Eddie's food. Luckily he didn't mind them

- so he could eat his food and enzymes at the same time.

There are already lots of ideas here.

I hope Josh is keeping well.

Very best wishes,

Sandy
