I came across this program somewhere on-line and wondered if it was any good. I would have maybe ordered it if it wasn't an e-book. I am one of those old-fashioned people who likes to hold the book in my hands. I signed up for his newletter and also a short emails series that is supposed to debunk some of the claims of the fat loss industry. Anyway, just wondering what you thought of the program? It is hard to follow....tough???

(the other in Ontario, the one who doesn't workout so as a result rarely ever posts to the list)

I've heard this is an awesome read too, but I would like a copy too . I have not purhcased for this reason!Darcy

Hi !

I bought this back when I first started working on losing weight and

exercising. It was a little above my head, then, so I took what I

could from it and set it aside. I've started re-reading it this past

week, and am finding it still has a lot to teach me.

I think it's worth the price for the first chapter, on motivation,

goal-setting and training your mind, as well as the detailed

information on how to customize your own levels of nutrient intake and

daily calories. I STRONGLY recommend that if you read only a little of

this book, you read this first chapter and put it into use right away.

There's not a lot of " ABC " workout routines in this, as I recall, it's

more about the basic principles of why it's better to eat clean and a

goodly amount, and create one's calorie deficit with exercise. If

you're familiar with weight training at all (I wasn't, when I got the

book) then there's plenty here to get you sweating in the gym, though.

He gives basic split routines, as I recall, and advice on modifying

them.

It's well worth the money (can't vouch for his members-only website,

as I've never joined) and I'm sure he'll still be teaching me

something every time I read the book.

BTW, I can't stand to read long passages on screen either, so I

printed it out and put it into one of those big 3 ring binders sold at

office supply stores. I think it came to nearly 400 pages (single

side) with all the appendixes added. (LOL, I did use previously

printed-on paper to save a tree or two.)

Nice thing, too, is that every so often, he'll offer an update to the

book, no matter how long ago you ordered, or send a link to an audio

seminar or such.

The program is dead-simple, really-- hard to follow? Well, yeah, any

change in lifestyle is hard to follow, but he doesn't ask anything

extraordinary and there's nothing really restrictive in here, like

most diet-only plans. It worked well for me, and I was (and still am)

using Weight Watcher's dietary principles, making sure to work in

their extra allowances for exercise.
