Does anybody have any experiance with this drug ?Katy has been

prescibed it for Gastric reflux issues. The head and upper body jerks

she has had on and off over the years are I feel related to reflux,so

I'm keen to treat this, especially after watching the Krigsman DVD.

She has been doing very well over the past couple of months, but is now

getting upper tummy pain again, and some reflux symptoms,ie throat

clearing.Her stools are good.

I have also increased her D3 to 2000iu a day,this past 10 days.

Wondered if this gastric pain is common when starting Lansoprazole.

Many Thanks for any comments ,

Sharon .

Thanks you Darla for your reply,

I hope you are feeling well again, after you renal problems.

She has quite a bit of fibre ,as I make her flour with mung beans

and chestnuts ,but I'll try to increase it .I think this could help

as she is quite distended today and toe walking.

I feel her GI problems now are mostly upper GI tract,do the motility

drugs help with moving food down the gullet and stomach?Poor motlity

here maybe why she has had problems she has had with enzymes, acidic

things and probiotics.

Thanks again and I'm so pleased to hear how well is doing.

Katy has made quite a bit of progress over the past few years, has

recently been assessed as moderate learning difficulties instead of

severe.I know she's a very bright little girl.Feel sure the key to

her is her gut and treating it very, very gently.

---Hi Sharon,

Hope it's ok to chime in here. My daughter Jasmine is on

Metoclopramide which helps stomach emptying. Without it she starts

vomiting. It also helps gut motility however, Jazzie still suffers

from bouts of constipation. She takes 1.8mls x 2 per day, but we can

give her another dose if needed. I try to keep it down as much as

possible. HTH.

Regards

Glynis

he has it first thing. Not sure how he digests his food, Mikael is

right, what does your stomach do without acid. But seems to be working

for him, a bit at least.
