Guest guest
Like lactose intolerance, only worse! There are two different conditions in which the sugar called fructose causes problems. I have hereditary fructose intolerance; a milder and less dangerous form is called fructose malabsorption. I don't know how " realistic " my diet is for someone who doesn't have this problem, but I haven't eaten candy, bread, baked goods, junk food, etc. since I was diagnosed over 10 years ago. Personally I don't think anybody *needs* that stuff in their diet, so this isn't really hard to follow. The tough part is that fructose is also found in a lot of good-for-you foods like fruits and even some vegetables, which makes it near impossible for me to get the appropriate potassium intake. > >> > >> > Hair loss was one of my first complaints that led me to seek a > >> > diagnosis of something other than essential hypertension.
