Guest guest
Wow - wonderful progress :-))) We are increasing slowly for Eddie after he had a bit of a reaction to a higher dose. Did you see any die-off/regression in the first 1-3 days? Eddie seemed to get very tearful and a bit inflexible. Best wishes, Sandy
Guest guest
--- Hi What was it that made you try vitamin D3? Its great news to see he has made some great gains. Reason why I'm asking is that my son always does better during the summer and I am wondering now if it is a vitamin D issue, as we all know vitamin D comes from the sun. Guest guest
that is fantastic to hear, all fingers xed! Hey Sandy, I'm so glad that you posted about this (not that it happened We had the same reactions ! I have asked around and no one else had seen it, so thought it was me seeing things... we tried Solgar gels, 1000iu D3 + about 3000iu of vit A softgel, and then D3 on its own, 400iu. Negative both times. interestingly luka is doing fine even on high doses CLO. could it be that he gradually got used to D from it, or that it was not getting absorbed for some reason. when we gave extra D it was mixed in CLO nx > > Wow - wonderful progress :-))) > > We are increasing slowly for Eddie after he had a bit of a reaction to > a higher dose. Guest guest
Fantastic news! I’ll be quietly excited for you too until you tell us more. Fingers crossed. SARA x I dont like making inferences and getting too excited too quickly but for the past week my son has been making some huge gains. at the beginning of the week he showed us he can read some words, and today his school aide said that this was best day of the whole year so far. we started d3 about 2 weeks ago and just this week, i increased to about 1500 units per day. this morning he had a double dose and this was the day he had his " best day ever " ??? anyone experience this? what can be expected with vitamin d? i.e. what is best case scenario. i am trying to remain quietly excited (not so quiet though)
Guest guest
update ok, this is too weird. My hubby is wearing a " dunlop " shirt this morning. My son went to him and started reading all the letters on the shirt " dunlop sports " he read each one. so then we moved on to a book, and he read an entire page of letters and some of the small words. (about 50 words altogether, he got about 8 small words) He COULD NOT do this last week. he was starting to know his abc's by rote via the abc song but this was something out of the blue. then he asked for his gf/cf chocolate. I wasnt going to give him any. He said " chocolate all done - go to shop? " I almost died. I went straight to the cupboard and gave him what was left! (i lied and said i forgot that we did have some left) i cant wait to see what the rest of the day brings. My boy has never made the connection of anything being bought in a shop nor has he ever said shop before, i didnt even know he knew what a shop was. > > > Fantastic news! Guest guest
Hi, we are using vitamin research products d3 its 400 iu per cap. we use 2 per dose 3 times a day now. i have read that much more can be used so we are building up. getting the snp test done to see if our boy has an inability to convert d3. apparently the test is a good marker for d conversion. > > > > > > Fantastic news!
