Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I didn't workout at all this week - nothing - not even a stretch. The stomach virus really wiped me out on Monday and Tuesday, then my DD got sick with it again on Wed, on Thurs I went back to work but I don't think I was quite " ready " for that so I felt pretty awful afterwards (mostly just very tired - probably a combo of the virus and not eating for a few days other than toast and applesauce) started feeling a bit more normal yesterday and I'm feeling even better today. UGH! My plan is to get back in action tomorrow or Monday. I would definately say tomorrow, but we're turning those darned clocks ahead, so I lose an hour's sleep already - basically, I guess I just have to see how I feel in the morning - I definately don't want to push it and end up with a relapse or more fatigue. I think I'm going to make my " comeback " week an easier one - I always like to pull out my Ellen Barrett crunch workouts for times like these, also my walking workouts - they're not too easy, not too hard and have zero dread factor for me - it'll definately be a lighter week for me. As for the rest of you struggling - hang in there - it has been a long winter! - I know exactly how you feel about finishing P90 - when I was doing P90X it was a struggle to stick with it - however, oddly enough - once I finished up, I found I missed the structure and sort of floundered around not sure of what to do for awhile (in fact, I'm still kind of at that point - the theme weeks I've done have been fun and kept me exercising, but I feel sort of lost without a goal now!) Carolyn - sorry you're sick, too. Hang in there! Darcy - you too! Keep tryin'! Anyway, hope I didn't miss anyone and I hope to be back to regular postings next week. As a result of being sick I'm way behind on everything - home and work stuff so it is a bit of a nightmare! Take care! Guest guest
Hi Donna, I'm sorry you were feeling so lousy!! I hope this is a better week for you! I've been thinking about what I want to do when P90 is over and your theme weeks have gotten me thinking about how fun that would be for a while, to be free to choose anything without feeling like I "should" be doing a P90 workout yet still have some self-imposed structure by the theme (which will also make it easier to know what I'll be doing instead of standing there for 5 minutes just trying to decide). I've already started planning some possible theme weeks for myself! At the same time, I like the goal-oriented thing too so I'm also looking at a Slim in 6 set on ebay and considering getting P90 Master Series! Well, can't do much of anything for another few weeks though, I AM going to see this through! :-) Just rambling Hi Everyone,I didn't workout at all this week - nothing - not evena stretch.
