Nerve snap in the hands and Depression

Good morning group,

My husband has CMT as did his father, & sister. I was wondering if

anyone has experienced a bumpy ,itchy almost rash like condition in

their hands. This condition does not go away and it is particularly

noticable on the palms side of the hand. It look like nerve snaps and

since CMT is neuro-affiliated I wondered if this could be related.

And like most men ( sorry for the generalization) he refused to go to

one more doctor.

Another Question? He also sufers from depression. I don''t believe it

is from the CMT alone, their is also a familiar tendancy for

depression. However, I would have a tendency to believe depression is

somewhat common in those afflicated by CMT.

What experience has the group members had with successful treatment of

depression that does not conflict with or have adverse impact on the affects of

CMT.
