Well, I finally have some time to post my workouts. I purchased Sansone's new walking system from QVC on New Year's Day and it finally arrived on Wednesday. It comes with four DVDs and a resistance band for $23 so it was a good deal.

Today I did Four Really Big Miles which contains a nice walking warm up that reviews all the moves you will use in each mile and four separate 1 mile walks that increase in intensity and speed as you go along. The fourth mile incorporates the resistance band to get some upper body work in. I didn't think she used the band enough so I added more work in when they just walked. After the fourth mile there is a nice stretch that incorporates some yoga moves like triangle post and warrior. Again I think the stretch segment could have been a bit more comprehensive but it was still fine. The whole workout was around 58 minutes and was pretty good. It's nice for a lousy weather day or when you just want a simple workout. has definitely toned down her banter to a tolerable level and the music wasn't bad either.

Although the core got some work in Four Really Big Miles I wanted more so I did the first core workout in the Yoga Booty Ballet Sculpt DVD. I like using the squisy ball to add intensity and inner thigh work to my core work.

It's cold here today but not as cold as it was earlier this week. Off to my laundry!
