Guest guest
Research has proven that the CMT gene has been evolving with " the human family " for about 7 million years, back to the time when Man evolved from Gorilla. I realize this is difficult to understand. However, it put light on my own CMT (which does not follow any of the pre-supposed current 'genetic' patterns) and when I read the original research by Dr. Chance for an article I was working on, I came to a new understanding of CMT and how the gene has evolved and mutated for 7 million years in 'the human family'. In 7 million years and 'the human family', that is alot of 'work' for the CMT gene to do, and people to affect. Needless to say, I have stopped my ancestor search and came to an even greater understanding of the workings of CMT. ~ Gretchen
