Hello fragrant beings

I have secretly been experimenting with my fresh rose petals

making a tincture? in 190 proof organic grape alcohol since a March blooming.

Today first result after 4 changes of petals I got a big blast of rose smell as

well Alcohol smell but on my hands it

evaporated leaving fragrance. Whoopee!

Issue's pro's and cons

1. alcohol seems to lessen in quantity

2. Color is good

3. Waiting for the petals to dry then starting time of tincture is hard to

time.

4. To throw or not to throw the petals

5. No comparison to distillation of product as I don't have a distiller.

All in all I am pleased to have a result. Tell you later how the dry down goes

on my fingers

where I pressed alcohol out of the petals maybe I should use a rock or ....

smell is like old rose dusting powder I love reminds me of Granmother.

Bb
