Getting to know you #2: Rose De Mai is not some bizarre hoax....

This seems to be another of the ones that opens up when you cut it WAY

down.....I'm surprised that I haven't heard/read about me people that find it

medicinal and with a sharply rotting odor straight out of its wax particle

filled bottle (also a bit disturbing till you realize what you are getting, as

with the unpleasant qualities of the Neroli that completely go away to be

replaced by this multi-layered strong yet delicate sweetness at VERY MINOR

concentrations. Mind you the Rose DM still doesn't have the deep, strong, more

rock solid scent of the rose absolute and it doesn't seem to last as long, but

now that I put just a little in a few ml of everclear and let it sit for a few

weeks I can finally get what all the fuss is about.

So that's two in the " nasty till you cut them WAY down and let them open up "

catagory...I wonder what else I will find that belongs in that group?
