The ARI book recommends starting with a low dose: "100 or 250 mg per day depending on body weight or age, with a caution not to use more than 2000 mgs per day (2 grams a day) as large doses can produce effects that are opposite to what would be expected."

Hi im just wondering how much taurine should we give Adam he is 30 lbs Thanks in advance for any info.

Thanks Darla we were told to build up to 6000mg daily felt it was very high dose ..Thanks a million..

Hi Mandi .No Adam does not have seizures .. Im not sure what fwiw is ??

FWIW - For what its worth - you should have had a list of abbreviations when you joined the group if you lost it mail me at TreatingAutism@... and I'll send you another copy :)
