Guest guest
Wow. The degree of close-mindedness and llllooonnnnngggggg memories remains high in America, doesn't it? Or is this just another example of the current high-level irritation and anger we seem to be experiencing across our land right now? Makes me realize how protected I am in my little office and warm fuzzy patients. Guest guest
Yes, read them…now for citations of the annual death due to “adverse drug events” the proper drug (supposedly) prescribed taken properly by the patient but they just have a bad reaction like death! That be right at 100,000 folks each year or the equivalent of on jet airliner with 274 passengers on board crashing every single day for a year….combine that with drug research fraud, conflicts of interest, over-seas drug trials with no oversight…..then we will get into the surgeries in this country especially spinal surgery and the cost in $$ and human terms…the device manufactures and the fraud…hey where did those wonderful artificial lumbar discs go anywho….???? Guest guest
How is it that the allopathic arena is so forgiven for these stats? Watching them acrue is what originally fueled the anger that I've had to deal with since leaving that side of medicine. They never seemed to care about what was going on around us .... it was just" huh? oh, okay. Next!" And all is swept under the rug. I agree with you, Vern. The rug needs changing ..... it is way beyond just shampooing. Maybe that's an idea to be sent to the Weekly. Dear Weekly, "Why is it that traditional western medicine is able to go through the population at the level of (cite daily 737 stats) and the people of America let that be okay?" Maybe they would be moved to run an investigative expose on it. People really don't like having their belief systems messed with, do they?! Guest guest
Lyndon, The last announcement that was published is that the ICD-10 is coming, but the "hard and fast never to be changed" deadline of October 1, 2013 has been "delayed." Mostly because some of the players have complained so much about the cost of transition. The new date has not been announced. Christian Mathisen, D.C., CCWFN cmathdc@... 3654 S Pacific Hwy Medford, OR 97501 ICD-10 code books Docs:I see that the ICD-10 code books are now available from companies such as Scrip-Hessco (http://www.scriphessco.com/products/2012-icd-10-easy-coder-chiropractic-version). Are the codes now set in stone, or will some likely change before implementation in 2013? Guest guest
As usual , I believe you are speaking as a realist and I agree thoroughly with your assessment. Some folks really are not looking sincerely for the truth-they are content to waddle in their ignorance indefinitely. We need to approach the real seekers with our information . They will listen. Schneider DCPDX Idiots will always be idiots (extremists-extremist/zealots-zealots ) So, we don't need to concern ourselves with changing, converting or arguing with those who don't " get it.
