Guest guest Posted January 23, 2011 Report Share Posted January 23, 2011 Hi perfumers, I am noticing the word " macerate " being used in places where I might choose the word, " infuse " . My understanding of to " macerate " is that you would be chopping up matter, which you would then follow with oil or alcohol poured over it, to infuse your medium with yummies.
