Guest guest
well if you lose K you're supposed to lose magnesium so the science says. I have never had my mag checked but I bet the NP I see would do it. I knew mag reputation helps with anxiety but I was also having an issue with a - new for me - tingling in only the right side of my face- what we call trigeminal neuralgia. But it never happened with the low K even at it worst so I knew it was something else. Just reading I learned about K loss also = mag loss and anxiety so I tried the mag and honestly I also felt it in one dose. And the neuralgia is not there but comes back if I miss a few doses (because it bugs my stomach sometimes. >I have not been taking my magnesium and I was feeling incredibly overwhelmed >today. Amazing what one dose will do to lessen the anxiety. Have you ever had >your magnesium checked? I have read that blood levels are not as accurate as >cellular levels, but when I asked a dr. to check - I forgot the name of the test >he sort of laughed at me. Guest guest
Hi, I am convinced that Inspra controls my anxiety. Went on Inspra in 2009 and in hindsight now realize it also relieved my anxiety. Didn't realize this until I was taken off of the Inspra so I could begin diagnostic testing, with a new doctor who didn't accept the original test records diagnosing the PA. After I was off of it for 3 weeks the panic attacks started up again. Inspra did not control my crazy BP levels but it did get my K levels above 3.5. After reading this strand I am going to ask about Magnesium level. > > > > > > > > Why does PA seems to spike anxiety disorders? Is it the Aldo > > causing it? Guest guest
it is likely the K controlled more than the medicine, but controlled due to the medicine. I've said this alot on here but out side of the thyroid issues which are fine now, it was without a doubt my chronic low K that caused my symptoms of anxiety, restlessness, extreme fatigue, brain fog and so on. The critical HTN that went with my PA was silent, but no less deadly. Still, the K I have a whole new appreciation for. I often wonder if so many of these patients with that unexplainable fatigue and weakness have a low K or a low end K even without PA and because lab values tend to be seen in absolutes on the lab form it is not even thought off. >Hi, I am convinced that Inspra controls my anxiety.
