Hi Everyone:

This is a general reply to all who have posted in the past day. I spent

most of today getting my new computer configured, and I'm really behind

in everything. So, let's see if I touch all bases:

Congrats to those chosen to be our NP evaluators! If you don't have a

blog, please post your impressions here, if you do have a blog, you can

post there and provide a link there.

Ross, I wanted to mention that the general link you provided will soon

be obsolete for taking the reader to the individual post you cited. I

always click on the title of the blog post to get the specific link,

like this:

http://olfactoryrescueservice.wordpress.com/2010/06/02/upcoming-from-ross-2/

We will have a decanting website who will provide samples of all of the

perfumes. It's one of the bloggers involved with the project.

I think that's all for now ;-)

If anyone is interested, I've been writing about the fun I had custom

designing the perfume and how I approach the design process...

It's a two part blog which also has the feedback about Helen found the

process and the perfume we ended up with....

Anyone else want to share their experiences?

Hi, this bears repeating: if you're posting about this project,

especially if you're a blogger or perfumer associated with it, please

post all links to blogs you write about it in *this* thread. Some new

threads have popped up and frankly, I'm just too busy to track down all

the links that are elsewhere. I'll be posting regular updates to the

blogs on the project, and I'm afraid I'll miss linking to yours if it's

not embedded in this thread.

Hi, Anya!

I am still finding this site a little overwhelming- I had no idea I was chosen

until I googled myself and found myself listed on a blog (not this site). My

profound apologies. Can I send you my addy, or is it too late? I don't want the

address to be posted publicly. Please email me at masha_robb@... so I can

send you my info. I'm happy to pay for the shipping so that it gets here in

time. Thanks!

-Marla

I've just blogged about my offering for the " Mystery of Musk " project:

" Craving "

http://perfumebynature.blogspot.com/2010/06/mystery-of-musk-craving.html

(I've also changed the look of my blog...couldn't resist making it more

colourful...but now I'm not sure if I've gone over the top and the look

distracts too much from the writing...whatya all think?)

My first review for the Mystery of Musk Project!

I read the review-it was a hoot when you mentioned the cat's reaction.  I

wonder if there is any spikenard in it, my cats go crazy for it, probably

because it's related to valerian.  They are not interested in the  least by

Africa stone.

Hi ,

The cat review was not mine, but I read it, too. It cracked me up!

Then yesterday my cat started acting goofy, too. I had dried some English

lavender and started an infusion with some grape seed oil. The container

wasn't large enough, so I transferred it to a larger mason jar. In the

process, some of it spilled onto my hands... So, I did what any person would

do <smile>, I rubbed the oil and lavender on my bare arms as a little bonus

moisturizer. Not too long afterwards, my cat (Ziggy), came up to me and

started sniffing and licking my arms. I had to laugh because it made me

think of that review.

Then, today I've been wearing Sharini's Grains de Paradis... getting ready

to write my review on it. Again, my cat found the spot on my wrist and

began sniffing... and then licking it! I think it is just crazy because

I've had cats all my life and I know how picky they are with smells and

such. They have a very developed sense of smell. Most things send them

running. I think it says a lot about natural botanicals and such.

Either that, or my cat is turning into a perfumista! (chuckle)

Have a great 4th!
