Regarding the proposed “Coordinated Care Organization (CCO) Administrative Rules??

Have your patient’s, friends and family members send it comments as well….here again are the three issues I need you all to address in your emails (public comment) to Ms. Cheryl s rules coordinator….

1.

The rule must be clear that CCO member-patients can choose a chiropractic physician, naturopathic physician or nurse practitioner as their “primary care provider.” The current proposed administrative

rule language is not clear enough and this was the intent of SB-1509 SECTION 4(1). Please put a little of our own spin on this statement…but you get the basic idea we do not wish to be box into the musculoskeletal realm only.

2.

“Network adequacy” must be defined in the rules. CCOs must provide adequate numbers of all health care professions so CCO member-patients can access the health care provider of their choice

without unnecessary delays, waiting periods, foot dragging, or other restrictions.

3.

“Varying reimbursement rates” the legislative intent was to based reimbursement on the quality and performance of each health care provider and cannot be based solely on the health care providers

license or discipline.

Remember please put your spin on each of these we must outnumber in our responses our enemies who would suppress our wonderful profession….PUBLIC COMMENT ENDS JULY 22!!!
