Here's an interesting article about Dr. Sarno's approach to treating chronic pain. This sounds like "psychological subluxation" - he's helping people remove the emotional interferences which allows innate healing to occur. His book, "Healing Back Pain", might be a good thing to recommend for chronic pain patients who do not respond to physical treatment.http://news.cincinnati.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/201207120545/LIFE07/307120053Jamey Dyson, DC

Never mind the book!! I looked it up on Amazon and found this section on Manipulation...He also goes through all the physical ddx's for back pain and says none of them are the cause of a person's pain... it's all mental. When someone becomes so one-sided in his opinions, I have a hard time supporting them.Jamey

The theory get a 'hmmmmm' from me. I see too much psychological interfaces to doubt it but have difficulty seeing as an 'only' thread.
