Guest guest
oh WOW that IS scary!!!! I knew that eye symptoms in M.S. sometimes appear suddenly, and often leave eventually -- but I had no idea that your experience shows how glaucoma works! wow. I am so EXTRA very glad that my glaucoma tests have been normal!! I don't know further on what you will face. Maybe somebody here does. There is a group called Vision Aware that I joined some time ago. You might check out this click: Visit the AWARE Online Education Center which I hope will work. if not then www.visionaware.org Curiously, I saw while hunting for a click, that January is glaucoma awareness month. and then the glaucoma website www.glaucomafoundation.org best to you, and keep options open! I am a 42 year old male, and was just diagnosed with glaucoma. It started on Tuesday night. I started having loss of vision like someone smeared vasaline across my eye. Then the pain started. OMG it was horrendous and nauseating. I went to see my family doctor who gave me eye drops and water pills. He called the eye surgeon immediatly and got me in within 2 hours, prescribed eye drops and water pills which I took immediatly. I went to see him and he was affraid the damage had been done and I had permenant vision loss. The doctor put an eye drop in every 20 minutes for 2 hours and my eye responded rather well. I went home, continued with the drops, water pills. Today I woke up and 80% of my vision had come back. I am still scared about what caused this. I hear you can have a brain tumor that causes glaucoma and that makes me very scared, especially for a man of 42 getting this. I saw the eye doc again today and he was amazed at how fast my eye recovered and seeing him again monday. He said I need further treatment, but not right now. What other treatment could he be talking about?

Guest guest
You should write down all your questions before you go into the doctor's office. And make sure you get an answer for them. The only thing we can give is suggestions and some of them may not always be right. Take care and I hope that you can find out the answer to the problem. Lucille D. P.S. You should ask the doctor if you have a Brain Tumor. You would have more symptoms I think. Write the questions down and ask him how this happen, and what it is and what to expect from now on. > Its very scary. I am still nervous about whats next.
