Guest guest
Hi I have just been diagnosed and currently doing a 3 day course of dexamethasone to rule out congenital adrenal hyperplasia. Then I go on inspra for 9 weeks and then Adrenal Vein Sampling. They spotted something on the CT scan but it did not appear on the MRI, thus the AVS. I have a couple questions: 1. what are the long term effects of taking inspra? I mean a few years? 2. what are the effects on the body of functioning with one adrenal is there a " How to guide " for someone like me. I am pretty overwhelmed and very relived to at last get some diagnosis. Yet I know that my endo is a bit out of his depth. I live in UK on west yorshire, is there a UK based hospital that knows about conns. My endo did not even know where to send me for the AVS. Thanks Chris
